An excellent weekend in Chartres with friends. For this LOOF cat show, Rocky (AstartesMau Rockefeller) obtained the CAC on the 2 days against his friend (Sechem) Pop-Corn. We are very proud of the behavior of our cats during the judgement. As usual, Pop-Corn and Rocky amused the visitors with their relax positions and their demonstration of affection. It was the first night at the hotel for the kitten. While Tacita was setting the temperature of the room (see pictures) and Too Much was inspecting the bathroom, Teddy Bear was enjoying the bed as his dad Rocky in the room nearby. Thank you to the AFPL for the nice presents !

I have joined the Board of the Cat Club du Grand Ouest (CCGO) for 1 year now. The CCGO is a general cat club created in 2020 and depending on the FFF (Fédération Féline Française /French Feline Federation), the FFF is the representative national and founding member of the FIFE (International Feline Federation). The objective of a cat club is in particular to organize cat shows, the opportunity to have an other perspective as organizer and not only as exhibitor. And organizing a cat show is a hard job ! Invite the judges, find the exhibition hall, vet for the control, hotel, restaurants, communicate around the show, find sponsors and stands, manage the inscriptions, the plan of the exhibition hall. But also prepare the room for the show, welcome the exhibitors, manage the entries, the refreshment bar, without forgetting the hard job done by the secretariat with the registration of all the diploma in real-time. What a rewarding experience !
I take of the opportunity of this article to warmly thank Séverine LENHART (treasurer), Christine LAMORELLE (assistant treasurer), Françoise CHABOCHE (assistant secretary) and of course Dominique GUYADER (president) for their trust and for making me part of this WONDERFUL team.
